Mobile Symphony Youth Orchestra is a full symphony orchestra of middle-school and high-school age musicians from across the Gulf Coast area. MSYO provides string, brass, wind, and percussion students with instruction and experience as they learn challenging music and improve their playing skills. As they work with other young musicians, they not only develop their individual musical skills, but also learn that participation in a group endeavor offers an experience far greater than one might achieve individually.

MSYO Concert tours take the beauty of orchestral music to communities across the Gulf Coast, throughout Alabama, and beyond our country's borders. Exchange programs with other Youth Orchestras help build bridges of international understanding through music.

Auditions are held in August each year. For more information, contact Sarah Wright, Education Director, 251-432-2064 or send an email.
