The Mobile Symphony Orchestra's 2007-08 Season opened with "Pictures at an Exhibition" on Saturday, September 8.  As patrons entered the Saenger Theatre, music motif paintings by local artists set the stage. Following the concert all ticket holders were invited to a reception at Cathedral Square Gallery on Dauphin Street where paintings from the exhibition were available for purchase with 40 percent of the purchase price going to Mobile Symphony music education programs.
