How long are the concerts?

Each concert program varies in length, however, typically, concerts run approximately two hours.

What age do children need to be to attend?

Children over the age of 6 are welcome to attend all Mobile Symphony performances. Student tickets are available for $10 through the Mobile Symphony Box Office. (College students must have valid ID to receive discount.) The MSO also serves the region’s youth through a variety of programs. For young children and families, our Sunday matinee concerts are a wonderful option. Special activities prior to select concerts make the concert experience fun for the entire family. Children may also take part in Classics for Kids and attend Sunday classical performances for FREE with a paying adult.

What should I wear?

Dress at Mobile Symphony Orchestra performances varies from casual to dressy. You should wear what makes you feel comfortable.

Is the Saenger Theatre handicapped accessible?

Yes, it is handicapped accessible, but only for Orchestra (floor) level seating. Please be sure to discuss any special needs when calling the MSO Box Office at 251-432-2010 to reserve your seats.

What is the difference between ticket prices?

The difference in price is based upon the seating section.

How can we purchase tickets and how do we pick them up?

Tickets can be purchased online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, in person at the Mobile Symphony Box Office at 257 Dauphin Street, or by phone at 251-432-2010.

The Mobile Symphony Orchestra Box Office hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. During concert events, Will Call is located inside the Saenger Theatre entrance at 6 South Joachim Street in downtown Mobile.

Can I purchase gift certificates to a concert?

Gift certificates can be purchased by calling the MSO Box Office at 251-432-2010. Gift certificates can be purchased in any denomination and do not have an expiration date.

Are there exchanges/refunds available?

Exchanges are only available to subscribers and are subject to availability. There is no exchange fee for subscribers. There are no refunds on subscriptions or single ticket purchases.
