Pepina Dell’Olio was born in Belgrade, Serbia in 1975. She pursued a Bachelor’s of Music Degree in Violin Performance at the Belgrade Music Academy, Serbia. She continued a Master’s degree in Violin Performance in the same institution. Following graduation, she was accepted as a Master’s degree student at Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA. After graduating in 2004, Pepina taught violin lessons in the elementary Private music school “Draisen and Edwards” in Atlanta, GA and also played in the Greenville Symphony Orchestra, Greenville, SC. In the Fall of 2005 she was accepted as a Doctoral student in Violin Performance at Florida State University. During these studies, she was a graduate assistant in the School of Music, where she taught private violin lessons and chamber music. During this time Ms. Dell’Olio also played in several orchestras such as the Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra, the Pensacola Symphony Orchestra, and the Mobile Symphony Orchestra. She plans to play and teach in the United States after her graduation. |
