Information: Judy Sykes is a native of Birmingham, but has lived most of her life in Mobile. She is a graduate of McGill-Toolen High School and received her bachelor's degree in Music Education from the University of Southern Mississippi. She followed with a master's degree in Audiology, also from USM. She has been a member of the Mobile Symphony since its inception and has also been a member of the Gulf Coast Symphony, Gulf Coast Opera and Pensacola Opera. Mrs. Sykes currently teaches preschool music and art at St. Luke's Episcopal School and works as a contract Audiologist with the U.S. Department of Veteran's Affairs. She is also an advocate for her younger child who has autism. She lives in Mobile with her husband and two sons.
