French Horn

Information: Born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, Mr. Leenhouts grew up in the New Orleans area. His earliest orchestral experience was with The New Orleans All City Orchestra in 1986. Fast forward to this past year where he performed as principal horn with The Mobile Symphony, The Pensacola Symphony Orchestra, The Southwest Florida Symphony, The Boca Raton Philharmonic Symphonia, The Hollywood Symphony, The Pensacola Opera, The Mobile Opera, The Naples Opera, and The Louisiana Brass. Last summer he was the featrued horn in The Palm Beach Chamber Music Festival in West Palm Beach, Florida, and appears on the 2007 CD from Chamber Music Palm Beach. Also a featured soloist with the Pensacola Symphony Orchestra in 2007 performing The Sernade for Tenor, Horn, and Strings op. 31 of Benjamin Britten. His favorite group to play with is his wife Christina and new baby daughter Jubilee Abbigail Leenhouts at their home in Miami. Mr. Leenhouts plays an Engelbert Schmid triple horn.
