Cindy Hinton Bivins lives in Hattiesburg, MS. She is a special educator for infants and toddlers with developmental disabilities at The Children's Center for Communication and Development at The University of Southern Mississippi. Cindy is from Auburn, Alabama, and is a graduate of Auburn University. People who have had a profound influence on her life and musical growth include Blanca Renard, Tommy Goff, Art Colianni, Edgar Glyde, and her father, Bodie Hinton. She considers music to be as essential to life as breathing, and is deeply grateful to be a part of the Mobile Symphony Orchestra and the muscial experiences it creates.
