Bay Area Strings Community Orchestra, an ensemble of string players of all ages, is part of Mobile Symphony, Inc., helping to fulfill its mission of making the magic of live orchestral music available to musicians and community members throughout their lives. It is the perfect orchestra for violin, viola, cello, and string bass musicians who love to play all types of music from classical to whimsical.

BASCO is open to intermediate and advanced level string players. Weekly rehearsals are held in the Larkins Music Center, 257 Dauphin Street , Mobile. Concerts are performed in the Greater Gulf Coast Area throughout the year.
