Afternoon Strings is the perfect ensemble for students who have studied violin, viola, or cello for two or more years and who are ready to begin using their skills. In weekly rehearsals, the young musicians are coached and conducted by strings experts as they learn to play classical and contemporary pieces that are appropriately challenging.

There are two Afternoon Strings groups, one rehearses in Mobile and the other rehearses in Fairhope. Students may select the group that is most convenient.
