journey to the land of Aladdin with Scheherazade, the adventurous
masterpiece by Rimsky-Korsakov based on The Arabian Nights. Tour the
French capital during the jazz Age with Gershwin's An American in
Paris, and experience the rousing Festive Overture by Dmitri
Shostakovich.

Back by popular demand, Halloween makes another appearance at the Symphony- with lots of new music this year. The program features all your spooky favorites by Grieg, Mussorgsky and more. Dress in your favorite costume, bring the kids, and take part in our entertaining costume contest- our musicians will be in costume too.

Imaginative and colorful, Vivaldi's The Four Seasons vividly depicts all the delights and hazards of each season. Violinist Daniel Szasz offers his stunning and whimsical interpretation, full of creativity, high spirits and wild pyrotechnics. The concert also includes Bach's beautiful Brandenburg Concerto No. 3 and Tchaikovsky's incredibly passionate Serenade for Strings.

We celebrate the return of Pablo Sainz-Villegas, Mobile's favorite Spanish guitarist, who plays with an infectious energy and charisma that will lift you out of your seat. Join us as he performs Rodrigo's Fantasia para un gentilhombre and Vivaldi's Guitar Concerto. This concert also features Rimsky-Korsakov's brilliant depiction of Spain, Capriccio Espagnol, and Strauss' macho creation, Don Juan.
